Growing up in central and southern Illinois, I was never a big fan of going to drive-In movies. When the movies start up, the mosquitoes are at their most vicious. But this makes me want to go to a drive-in right now. It looks like so much fun! Via Hello, Friend.

I simply love colorful clawfoot tubs. The lime green color of this one causes me instant happiness.

I wish I was here right now.

I wish I was here right now.

I hate fences. Well, most fences at least.
Maybe this is because I grew up in a ticky-tacky neighborhood where the neighborhood board required anyone with a fence to have a wooden picket fence. The result? Almost every single house had exactly the same fence, and most of them were left untreated. (We broke the code and had a white fence. It never required staining or maintenance, and even 12 years later, it looks fabulous!)
Thus, I’m always keeping my eyes peeled for unusual and inspiring fence ideas. I was so pleased to see that Morgan at The Brick House posted this “wide plank slat fence.” It’s a beautiful interpretation on classic Americana.
